Despite facing a much more experienced team, the Prince Albert A and W Bears rose to the challenge Saturday afternoon.
The Bears outshot the Gold Wings, but lost 3-2..
Brooke Hobson would score the Bears’ first goal of the season.
The game was tied at two late in the third, when the Goldwings scored the winning goal.
The Bears and Gold Wings will clash again Sunday afternoon at the Art Hauser Centre. Puck drops at 1p.m.
