WillowView pre-selling for September move in

Construction is just about to wrap up on the WillowView condominiums.

The 63-condominium building located at the intersection of 15th Street and 15th Ave. E. is now pre-selling with occupancy to begin in September.

Construction of what was originally called the Blackstone began in late 2011. After the original owner, East Windermere, became insolvent and went into receivership last year, local construction firm Miller Contracting took over to finish the project.

The original project planned to have multiple complexes however that will no longer happen.

WillowView was constructed under the Headstart on a Home Program which has financed more than $400 million in entry-level housing construction across the province.

Down payment grants up to $17,500 are available through the city for first time home buyers interested in purchasing at WillowView.

Viewings for one and two bedroom units are available on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. or by appointment.
