Byrne busy bustin’ bulls in Calgary; day one bull riding wrap up

Prince Albert’s professional bull rider Tanner Byrne didn’t score in Day One at the Calgary Stampede Rodeo Friday in Calgary.

Byrne was bucked off by bull Fat Boy in his opening run, lasting 6.7 seconds.

Mike Lee from Fort Worth, Texas scored an 87 riding bull Moe, the best Day One score.

Saskatchewan-born Aaron Roy, from Yellow Grass, was the Day One runner up with a ride of 85 points on bull Shots Fired. Tyler Thomson from Black Diamond, Alta. scored an 83 on El Hombre.
