Whack of records broken at districts
Two rookies are making their marks on the high school track scene by shattering multiple records at the North Central District Track and Field Meet Wednesday and Thursday at Prime Minister’s Park.
Carlton’s Anthony Antaya isn’t too be messed with in the long distances, as he set the midget boys 3,000m record on Thursday, and the hand timed record for the 1,500m on Wednesday.
St. Louis’ Calvin Napope added two his two records he got last week, setting new standards in the 100m and long jump events.
Karson Lehner of Carlton broke a pair of records himself, in the senior boys 100m and 200m events.
