Police investigating armed robbery

Police in Prince Albert are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Friday morning.

Police responded to a panic alarm in the 800 block of 13th Street West at 8:19 a.m. Staff told police that a man entered the store, produced a piece of pipe and demanded cash. He left the store with an undisclosed sum of money and confectionary items.

After the man left the store, he got into the passenger side of a white four-door Dodge Neon. According to police, the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the morning in Prince Albert. It has yet to be located.

The man is described as five feet six inches to five feet eight inches. He was seen wearing a black hooded jacket, dark black glass and had covered his face with orange, red and black bandanas.
