Gun store owner’s charges tally up to 19
Court documents allege the owner of Melfort and Nipawin gun stores raided under Project Forsetti – which targeted motorcycle clubs – didn’t stay away from club members after he got out on bail the first time.
Armand Hounjet, 43, was one of 14 men arrested in mid-January in one of the province’s largest drug raids. Hounjet owns both Badger Arms Supply in Melfort and Nipawin Gun and Tackle.
On February 13 he was released from custody after a bail hearing at Saskatoon Provincial Court. He posted $10,000 bail at that time.
Those conditions of release included a no contact order with – among others – men who’d also been arrested through Project Forsetti “or any member of the Hells Angels or Fallen Saints except through a lawyer or while in a courtroom.”
