Raiders prospect Meger off to Telus Cup playoffs on top-ranked team
Prince Albert Raiders prospect Curtis Meger is off to the Telus Cup playoffs on the top-ranked team—the Regina Pat Canadians.
The Pat C’s went 4-0-1 in the round robin this week in Riviere-du-Loup, Que. Their only blemish was Friday’s 3-3 tie against the Newbridge Academy Gladiators from Lower Sackville, N.S.
Meger stopped 27 of 30 shots on Friday. He went 2-0-1 in three group stage games with a .924 save percentage and 2.35 goals against average.
Should the Pat Canadians go all the way and win the Telus Cup, they would set a record with five Telus Cup victories.
