UPDATE: Suspicious death at Saskatoon hotel
Yellow police tape surrounded the front of the Northwoods Inn and Suites’ parking lot in Saskatoon Saturday morning as police investigate a suspicious death.
Saskatoon Police confirmed they are investigating a suspicious death that happened in the early hours of the morning at the motel on the corner of Idylwyld Drive and 26th Street.
A 42-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but was pronounced dead at the hospital at 7:02 a.m.
Police have not released the cause of the man’s injuries. Members of the Saskatoon Police Major Crime and Forensics Units are investigating.
