Icy roads a factor in fatal crash west of Saskatoon

A 56-year-old man died Saturday night after his truck lost control and plunged into a creek west of Saskatoon.

RCMP said the crash happened around 7 p.m. on Highway 14, east of Kinley.

The man was found trapped inside the truck and was declared dead at the scene.

A second person in the truck, a 27-year-old woman, survived by crawling out of the submerged vehicle.
