Marauders boys win silver at 5A Provincials

The St. Mary senior boys volleyball team captured the silver medal at the SHSAA 5A Boys volleyball provincials in Saskatoon.

They finished first place in pool A with a 4-0 record. In the quarter-final, they beat Regina Winston Knoll (25-14, 27-29, 25-22). In the semi-final, they beat Saskatoon Holy Cross (25-18, 25-19) to advance to the gold medal game.

In the final, the boys lost to Carlton (24-26, 20-25).

The silver is the Marauders 10th medal won in the last 11 provincial championships.

The senior girls lost in the quarter-finals at the SHSAA 5A Girls provincials in Regina. After finishing in 4th place in pool B with a 1-3 record, they lost a close quarter-final to Weyburn (25-23, 23-25,23-25).
