La Ronge RCMP officers have put a major dent in drug trade in the area.

A drug bust executed by RCMP police and North Battleford dog services saw one man charged with drug trafficking charges.

On July 19 around 3 a.m. police executed a search warrant at residence and seized 40 grams of cocaine and 30 grams of marijuana, which came out to an approximate street value of $4,500.

The unnamed suspect made his first court appearance on Monday in La Ronge Provincial Court.
