Lehner leads St. Mary to runaway championship at HS Track & Field meet
St. Mary is the best in Saskatchewan when it comes to high school track and field.
The Prince Albert school ran away with the Provincial team title in Moose Jaw outdistancing Saskatoon Holy Cross by over 100 points.
The Marauders earned 566.5 points while capturing 20 medals (9 Gold, 7 Silver, 4 Bronze).
Katelyn Lehner won the Senior Girls aggregate title with 72 points. She grabbed four gold medals with first place finishes in the 80 metre hurdles, 100 & 200 metre sprints as well as long jump. Morgan Borstmayer of St Brieux was second to Lehner with 60 points as she won gold in triple jump and silver in long jump.
