First Nations Summer Games announce four new sponsors

The Saskatchewan First Nation Summer Games is only 80 days away and has just received $229,500 in contributions on Thursday.

At the Summer Games office in Prince Albert’s Gateway Mall, four new sponsors announced donations to support special events.

Sponsors announcements

– SaskEnergy donated $12,500 to go towards a kick-off barbecue for the volunteers.
– Community Initiative Fund donated $42,000 to go towards the Cultural Village
– Potash Corp donated $50,000 to help with the Concert in the Park
– SIGA will provide volunteer support for the Games and donated $125,000 as the lead sponsor for the Opening Ceremonies

Each sponsor was presented with a honourary plaque from students of the Muskoday First Nation Community School.
