UPDATED: Police diffuse tense situation

There were some scary moments inside a house in Prince Albert on Saturday.

Police responded to a 911 call regarding a weapons complaint.

It was learned soon after a man was threatening people with a knife.

The call originated from the 1500-block of 16th Street Avenue West. When police arrived at the scene, a man was found standing outside the house holding the knife. He then surrendered peacefully.

Comarty Flett, 22, from Pakwaw Lake is facing charges, including possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.

A woman was slightly injured during the incident, but it was not from the knife.

Flett appeared in court Tuesday afternoon. He will appear in court on March 5.
