B.C. Lions hand Roughriders their fourth straight loss
The Saskatchewan Roughriders losing streak was extended to four games by the B.C. Lions on Sunday.
The Riders lost 24-5 and Darian Durant was pulled late in the fourth quarter after his third interception of the game.
Saskatchewan was the first on the board with a field goal in the first quarter. However, the B.C. Lions methodically wore down the Riders and scored 24 unanswered points.
The Lions first touchdown came in the second quarter after Sandro DeAngelis missed a 48-yard field goal, Tim Brown returned it to the Riders 49-yard line and a 15-yard penalty had the Lions at the 34. Travis Lulay would finish the drive with a five-yard touchdown run to make it 7-3 at halftime.
