PA local takes gold at National Judo Championship

Chelys Vallejo has done exactly what said she was going to—win gold. The Prince Albert local is in Toronto this weekend competing at the 2012 National Judo Championship along with her teammates Josie Lehner, Eden Mcpherson, and Josh Guthrie.

Vallejo competed in the Veterans +70 kg division and dominated the match with a record of 3-0.

Josh Guthrie will fight Saturday afternoon.
