This year marks 60 years of business for Houle Furniture in Prince Albert, a family run business that has continued to serve the city since its doors opened in 1952.

Marty Houle, who naturally took over ownership of the business from his father Paul Houle, said Houle Furniture continues to be a rewarding and fulfilling business.

“It was originally just an appliance and television store and of course my dad at that time was an electrical contractor,” he said. “But things evolved and it’s been in the same location and we have evolved into furniture, appliances, bed, and dining room.”

“It’s just been a very rewarding and fulfilling career in the furniture business we have great people and we have some amazing relationships with customers. We have some amazing friends and it’s just a wonderful business to be in.”
