Saskatchewan Roughrider receiver Andy Fantuz has been named the Canadian Football League’s Most Outstanding Canadian for 2010.

Fantuz received 53 out of the 60 first place votes. 2010 was the first year Fantuz was able to play in all 18-games. Fantuz proved he was not only one of the top Canadians in the league but one of the best receivers in the league.

The five-year veteran finished the season at the top of the league in receiving yards with 1,380 yards. He also added six touchdowns.

Fantuz is the first Rider to win the Most Outstanding Canadian since receiver Ray Elgaard did so in 1992. He was also the first Canadian to lead the league in receiving since Dave Sapunjis in 1995.
