Seven years after killing six people in a drunk driving crash, Norma Jean Mooswa could be out of prison this weekend.

Her statutory release date is Aug. 20, marking two thirds of her sentence.

In 2004 Mooswa was behind the wheel of a car that slammed into another vehicle at 160 kilometres an hour. She was sentenced to 10 years for charges that include impaired driving causing death and bodily harm.

She'll be supervised until the end of her sentence.
