Missing Ahtahkakoop man found in Hines Lake

RCMP have confirmed the discovery of the body of a missing man in Ahtahkakoop.
The 56-year-old man was found on October 2 just before 2 p.m. in Hines Lake. He had been reported missing the day before.
Community members and the police had been actively looking for him and his family have been told of his discovery.
Both police and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service are awaiting the final results of an autopsy, but no foul play is suspected at this time, according to the RCMP.
