Man wanted for alleged distraction lottery ticket thefts
Police in Prince Albert are looking for a man believed to have stolen lottery tickets after distracting the store clerks.
The first incident happened on June 24, just before 10 p.m. in the 2600 block of Second Avenue West. A man asked the clerk for lottery tickets. The clerk provided the tickets and then he asked for cigarettes. Once the clerk turned around, the man grabbed the tickets and left the store.
The number of tickets stolen has not been disclosed.
The suspect in this incident is described as Caucasian, about five feet, seven inches and he was wearing a blue jacket and hat.
