National march against women’s violence makes its way into Gateway Mall in PA
It may be Christmastime, but a somber march took over the Gateway Mall at noon on Friday.
About 50 people silently walked through the mall as part of the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.
Dec. 6 is the same day in 1989 when 14 women were killed because of their gender at Polytechnique, the University of Montreal.
People held signs that represented both the national and local issue of violence against women.
