Program teaches students in creative way

Jun 20, 2012 | 5:30 PM

On Wednesday the Equine Assisted Learning Program let everyone try out their activities.

The program, run from One Arrow Equestrian Centre, is meant to help young students develop skills such as problem solving, communication, and leadership. They do this by having them perform various tasks with their team members, which includes the other students and horses.

Adults got to try it out Wednesday and some learned leading a horse through a course without speaking can be difficult.

More information on their programs for classes and summer camps can be found here.
