Darryl explains that the mattresses they carry have very unique features, some that people may never have heard of. Magniflex mattresses with Outlast (trademark) fabric built into the mattress. The benefit is that the heat is regulated throughout the night. The science behind the fabric is out of this world literally, as it was designed for astronauts and is made with millions of tiny wax spheres that melt at 97 degrees Fahrenheit (36 degrees Celsius). As the body’s temperature rises during sleep, the excess heat is dissipated. Once the temperature drops below the melting point, the spheres regain their shape and firmness therefore retaining the heat. Darryl and Laurie both explain how life changing this temperature regulation can be to anyone who has a hard time with fluctuations of heat and cold throughout the night.
