Employee ‘misused’ word not enough for City to withhold information: privacy commissioner

The province’s privacy commissioner has determined the City of Prince Albert incorrectly applied parts of The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIP) while responding to an access to information request earlier this year.

Lagoon vote delayed as R.M. council seeks clarity on planning rules

The future of a lagoon to service North Bay Trailer Park continues to hang in the balance after a vote on the application was tabled by councillors in the Rural Municipality of Buckland.

Hundreds descend on Kinsmen Park for Canada Day festivities

Nidhi Nidhi sat joyfully under a tent in Kinsmen Park surrounded by a sea of small paper Canadian flags and dye, ready to decorate onlookers with elegant Henna tattoos.

Born in India, Nidhi recently immigrated to the country and was celebrating her first Canada Day.
