SGI seeks input on farm plates

Oct 29, 2010 | 6:15 AM

Saskatchewan Government Insurance will be touring the province asking for input on Saskatchewan's farm-class license program.

“The needs of farmers and farming business have changed dramatically since some of these policies were last reviewed as much as 30 years ago,” minister responsible for SGI, Tim McMillan, said in a news release.

“To ensure the farm plate program continues to be relevant, we have asked SGI to review current rules and policy. Of course, gathering ideas and feedback from those impacted is a critical part of that process,” he said.

SGI has already been collecting feedback and the most commonly requested changes have been compiled and posted on the agency's website www.sgi.sk.ca.
