Options for Muzzy Drive playground

What should the proposed Muzzy Drive playground look like?

The proposed children’s amenity at Crescent Acres is set to be built on a green space off Muzzy Drive between Kernahan Crescent and Demour Terrace in the spring.

Options will be presented by the city on Thursday evening at an open house at the Crescent Acres Community Club. That goes from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Residents will be asked to fill out a short three question survey. For those who can’t get to the open house they can complete the survey online. 

“We want to give the community the best possible options and to have the neighborhood come out and have their say, ” manager of parks Tim Yeaman told paNOW.

Both playground options include various play, climbing and sliding equipment, but only one would feature swings.

“We hear from parents that swing sets are popualr because it breaks the park up a bit and gives the kids something else to do,” he said.
