UPDATE: Prince Albert police confirmed in a very brief statement Wednesday evening that the caregivers had been located. It did not clarify if the children were related nor if there was more than one caregiver involved in the incident.

Prince Albert Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two toddlers who were found alone in separate areas of the city Wednesday morning.

Police are looking for the family or caregivers of two young girls, who were both found between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Wednesday. Police say one girl was found around Eighth Street E. and 10th Ave. in Prince Albert while another was found in the 500 block of River Street E.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince Albert Police Service.
