The Prince Albert Mintos have stringed together 11 straight victories in Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League play this season, after defeating the Moose Jaw Generals 3-2 Saturday at the Art Hauser Centre.

The Mintos are now at 25-4-2 on the season with 52 points, one point back of both the Notre Dame Hounds and the Regina Pat Canadians, both of which are tied at 53 points.

The Mintos got goals from Josh Pillar, Kyrell Sopotyk and Alex Ozar to lead 3-0 at the midway point of the third period. The Generals made it interesting after getting a shorthanded goal from Jaxon Georget and an even strength goal 1:07 later from Cal Caragata. That’s as close as the visitors would get.

The Mintos will look to make it 12 straight victories on Sunday when they face the Notre Dame Argos, 1:30 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre.
