Knife wielding woman attacks P.A. cab driver

A Prince Albert cab driver managed to escape with minor cuts to his face and hands after getting attacked by a woman with a knife on Boxing Day.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 1200 block of 28 St. E. 

According to a news release from Prince Albert Police, the woman got in the taxi, pulled out the knife and demanded money from the driver.

A brief struggle took place and the cab driver was successfull getting the knife away. The woman was arrested shortly afterward.

Heather Tremblay, 26, is charged with robbery with violence, and made her first court appearance on Wednesday at the Prince Albert Provincial Court.
