Raiders Go Down Early- Lose 7-3 in Brandon

Prince Albert Raiders 3 at Brandon Wheat Kings 7

The Prince Albert Raiders fell behind early with a score of 3-0 for the Brandon Wheat Kings. The Raiders didn’t get on the board until it was a 4-0 game in the second period when Tyler Yaworski scored a shorthanded goal. It wasn’t enough as the Wheat Kings won 7-3 over the Raiders. Mark McNeill with his 30th of the year and Shane Danyluk with his third on a power play would round out the Prince Albert scoring. Goalie Eric Willaims was pulled after one period of play after giving up three goals on eight shots. Jamie Tucker played the rest of the night as the wheat kings outshot the Raiders 39-36. The Wheat kings went three for five on the power play while the Raiders were one for one. The Raiders are back in action Wednesday in Calgary.
