Jump.ca set to open 1st PA location this fall

Mobile phone retailer Jump.ca is expanding and plans to open it first location in Prince Albert this fall.

The new store will be located in the building where the Supreme Basics office products store was located at 425B 15th Street East.

The new location will mean more jobs for Prince Albert. Jump.ca expects to hire six to eight employees to staff its store.

“We felt Prince Albert had a need for a cellular retailer that is focused on the customer,” Geral Buchko, president of Jump.ca said in a statement.

The Regina-based retailer sells cellular products and services, as well as SaskTel services, including internet and television.

The company plans to be active in the Prince Albert community. “Wherever we are, we want to make a meaningful contribution to our communities,” Buchko said in the statement.
