Métis symbol added to legislature

There was lots of applause Tuesday morning, as the specially designed Métis sash was laid alongside the First Nations symbol in the Legislature.
It now has a permanent home there as a way to remind people of the role the Métis has played in Saskatchewan’s history.
It is especially fitting as the premier declared this the year of the Métis.
