Police look for cashbox thieves

Prince Albert Police are looking for the person responsible for ruining a local fundraiser on the weekend.

At about 6:20 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a theft at the Indian Métis Friendship Centre located on the 1400 block of First Avenue East.

According to police a man entered the facility and stole the canteen cash box before getting into a van and leaving the scene.

It was during the monthly Poker Tournament at the centre.
