Early morning blaze in Leask

Feb 9, 2011 | 6:53 AM

It’s a sad day for the people of Leask, a town about 100 kilometres north of Saskatoon.

Early this morning the hotel went up in flames.

A caller to Newstalk radio described a “red cloud” from the blaze that could be seen from for miles outside the down.

Now the fire is out and all that is left is smouldering rubble.

There's no word on what caused the blaze.
