Man arrested for not complying with police

A 52-year-old, Prince Albert man is facing charges including assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest following an incident Friday night.

Prince Albert police said a vehicle was stopped in the West Hil area of the city. A man exited his vehicle, approached the police vehicle and did not comply with the orders given by the officer.

The accused has been released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
