Charges laid against trio accused of stealing tractor in 2009

Police have laid charges against three people accused of stealing a tractor from the Lajord Hutterite Colony, east of Regina, in 2009.
The RCMP responded to a complaint on the Lajord Colony in November 2009, of a stolen tractor and damaged barn. The tractor was found partly submerged, with over $200,000 damage inflicted on it.
David Anthony Schaefer, 30, and Megan Danielle Fraser, 27, both of Regina, and Carl Schafer, 30, of Sedley, have all been charged with theft over $5000 and mischief over $5000.
They will appear in Regina Provincial Court on April 18.
