Two scary abduction attempts in Yorkton

A couple of scary incidents in Yorkton have people looking over their shoulder.

RCMP say a 21-year-old woman was approached by a man around 11p.m. asking for directions. He got out of his truck and appraoched her from behind armed with a knife. He then forced her into the back seat.

Luckily the woman was able to escape a little while later.

RCMP also received a complaint of an incident that happened Mar.19 which have similarities to the latest crime. That person was also unharmed.

The suspect is described as 24-30 years old, 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 9 in height, with an average build and round face. He was wearing a black leather jacket, jeans, and running shoes.

The truck is described as a newer black, four door pick-up style, possibly a Ford or Dodge product.
