Ontario advances to Brier final

He has played in more Brier games than any other skip and his experience was on display in the Brier's 1-2 page playoff game at Credit Union Centre on Friday night.
Glenn Howard of Ontario has pushed his team in to the final with a 9-3 win over Manitoba's Rob Fowler. Ontario scored three in the fifth end, and put deuces on the board in the first, third and seventh ends as well.
Manitoba is still alive as the Fowler team now prepares for Saturday night's semi final. Fowler will meet the winner of Saturday afternoon's 3-4 page playoff game featuring Alberta and the Territories.
The teams are skipped by Koe brothers (Kevin of Alberta and Jamie of the Territories). Alberta defeated the Territories 11-3 in round robin play on Wednesday.
