Transgender Awareness Week

Today was the first Trans* flag raising in Prince Albert at City Hall in recognition of Transgender Awareness Week, March 29 – April 4th. A representative from City Council, Rick Orr, was there as well and he read the Proclamation.

This is an opportunity to inspire, inform and educate society about the challenges faced by members of the Sex and Gender Diverse Community, and celebrate the diversity of gender with all people across Saskatchewan.
