VIDEO: Saskatoon Tactical Response Team attends traffic stop

Downtown drivers and shoppers were surprised when the Saskatoon police tactical vehicle flanked a swarm of squad cars outside Midtown Plaza Friday.

Police made a high-risk traffic stop on a white cab just outside the mall entrance on 20th Street between Idywyld Drive and Firstt Avenue.
 
Police said they had information one of the men could be a suspect in an investigation, but could not say which investigation.

Three men were peacefully taken into custody for breach of court orders.

The Tactical Response Team which just happened to be doing training in the area also attended the scene. Traffic was briefly halted along the small stretch of road but reopened shortly after the men were arrested.
