High-speed chase ends in DUI arrest
A 40-year-old man is facing numerous charges after fleeing from police in a vehicle.
On Sunday night just before 8 p.m. Prince Albert police saw a vehicle that was speeding in the 700 block of 28th Street West. Police said they attempted to stop it, but the driver wouldn’t pull over.
While speeding away the suspect vehicle t-boned an SUV at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and 28th Street West, but didn’t stop.
Police said the suspect vehicle then sped onto Highway 2 south, but a flat tire disabled the car. This didn’t stop the suspect as he left the vehicle and tried to run away at which point officers arrested him.
