Sep 10, 2015 | 5:37 PM

The Prince Albert Raiders are sending six players to NHL training camps.

Brendan Guhle was picked by the Buffalo Sabres in the second round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and Matteo Gennaro was a seventh round choice of the Winnipeg Jets in the same draft. Both will report to their respect teams.

Hunter Warner will attend his second camp with the Minnesota Wild, who signed Warner during last year’s preseason.

Mackenze Stewart, who did not report to Raiders camp, is attending the Vancouver Canucks’ camp. He’ll be joined by Reid Gardiner.

The lone Raiders goaltender attending an NHL camp is Nick McBride, who’s going to the Los Angeles Kings’ camp.

The WHL league average of sending players to NHL games is 5.7. The Kelowna Rockets lead the league in that category with 11, including former Raiders Leon Draisaitl and Josh Morrissey.  On the other side of the scale, the Moose Jaw Warriors are only sending Brayden Point to the Tampa Bay Lightning’s camp.

The Raiders play their first preseason home game on Friday against the Saskatoon Blades. Admission is free for the matchup.

Then, the Raiders will travel down to Warman for a rematch against the Blades on Saturday.

Through two preseason games, 18-year-old defenceman Brennan Riddle leads the team in scoring with three points through two games, and a +4 rating. Parker Kelly, who hopes to make the team as a 16-year-old, has a goal and an assist. Spencer Moe also had a goal and an assist before the 15-year-old was reassigned after the Regina tournament.
