An upcoming conference in Prince Albert will help address some of the big questions surrounding the need for a second bridge.

The Building Bridges for Success conference will take place Oct. 7 at the Prince Albert Travelodge.

Murray Totland, City Manager for the City of Saskatoon, has been invited to deliver the keynote address.

He will discuss Saskatoon’s experiences with local infrastructure development, including P3 programs. The conference workshop will hear from Dr. Gordon Sparks, managing partner with VEMAX Management, and Rupen Pandya, CEO of SaskBuilds.

The day will conclude with a panel discussion moderated by Steve McLellan, CEO of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce.

“Building Bridges for Success will be an opportunity for developers, administrators and the general public to learn what goes into infrastructure planning and assessment and how the P3 program works,” said Prince Albert & District Chamber of Commerce CEO, Larry Fladager in a press release. “Given the continued debate over local infrastructure development, this workshop will provide attendees with the resources and information they need to make a more informed decision.”

The conference is sponsored by Athabasca Basin Development, with support from HBI Office Plus.

Questions about the conference can be directed to the Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce.
