Grayling Business Consulting started in the home of Marlyn Phillips-Leson and Tim Leson in 2013. Since then, they’ve grown to include two office locations within the city, 10 permanent staff and 5 seasonal staff members.

“We knew we would grow,” said Phillips-Leson. “there was room for another CPA firm that would serve the smaller and medium sized businesses, as well as still serving their needs as large businesses, or help people who were wanting to get into business. Our goal is to serve them without the jargon, and to grow with them.”

When the federal government announced small business tax changes some of Grayling’s clients were concerned about how the changes would affect them.
