Canadian scrum half Phil Mack named to Major League Rugby’s first all-star team

SALT LAKE CITY — Veteran Canadian scrum half Phil Mack has been named to the Major League Rugby first all-star team.
Mack was one of four Seattle Seawolves named to the first team by select MLR media. Fellow Canadian international Brock Staller, also of Seattle, was a second-team choice at wing.
Mack also serves as Seattle’s assistant coach.
No. 2 Seattle will face the No. 1 Glendale Raptors on Saturday at Torero Stadium in San Diego to decide the seven-team MLR’s inaugural champion.
