Alleged shooter enters not guilty pleas, opts for trial at provincial court

A man charged after a shooting incident in Prince Albert is maintaining his innocence.

Dallas Mcleod-Lecendre has entered not guilty pleas to a number of charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent, and possession of a prohibited gun.

His trial at provincial court has been scheduled to start Jan 27th. As per discussion heard in court on Monday, a total of five days have been set aside for the proceedings.

Also charged in connection to the incident last July were Kenny Bear and Desiree Sewap and they are both back in court Oct. 1.
