Culture Days returns to Prince Albert

Sep 18, 2026 | 12:35 PM

A near two week celebration of Prince Albert and its mosaic of cultures has begun.

The Culture Days event kicked off Friday on the riverbank and included live music, food, information booths and a collaborative art activity with the Mann Art Gallery. There was also a free lunch offered at the nearby historical museum.

“Culture Days is an opportunity to celebrate the creativity, cultures, stories, and traditions that make Prince Albert such a vibrant place to live,” said Tia Holash, Arts and Culture Coordinator for the City of Prince Albert. “Whether you’re attending a festival, trying a new art form, learning about local history, or connecting with neighbours through shared experiences, Culture Days helps bring our community together and highlights the richness of our local cultural landscape.”

Culture Days runs from Sept. 18 to Oct. 4 and features more than twenty free events and activities ranging from visual arts and music to history, dance, and cultural experiences. A complete schedule is available on the Prince Albert Culture Days Hub.

Among the events are a special exhibition at the Mann Art Gallery on Saturday, featuring works from the gallery’s permanent collection. On Sept. 24, there is an African Grooves Dance Party, and the Tapestrama Cultural Festival returns to the Prince Albert Exhibition Grounds on Sept. 26 and 27.
