P.A. Police arrest man following sexual assault

A 29-year-old man is behind bars following a serious sexual assault. 

Prince Albert Police were called to a home in the 500 Block of 11 Street East on Tuesday shortly after 11:45 p.m. for an assault in progress. 

Officers quickly arrested the man, and located a 22-year-old woman in the home. She was taken to hospital by paramedics and her family said she is in critical condition.  

The man has since been charged with sexual assault. He is set to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday.
