P.A. Police arrest man following sexual assault

A 29-year-old man is behind bars following a sexual assault. 

Prince Albert Police were called to a home in the 500 Block of 11 Street East on Tuesday shortly after 11:45 p.m. for an assault in progress. 

Officers quickly arrested the man, and located a 22-year-old woman in the home. She was taken to hospital by paramedics with injuries described as non-life-threatening. 

The man has since been charged with sexual assault. He is set to appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Thursday.
